Unbleached filters
The filters fit great in my new cuisinart coffee maker. Yes they are brown and not pretty. I do not understand why anybody buys white filters that have been bleached and who knows what else to make them look appealing. It’s nice to drink coffee and not chemicals.

Great filters.
I like that I don’t have to be concerned with bleach leaching into my coffee from a filter.

Natural, bleach free.
I have used Mellita filters for many decades. I stopped using a coffee maker and seldom used a French press. The Mellita system delivers an unmistakable taste; you can make it as strong as you like. No added flavors. Word of caution: do not add boiling water. Wait a minute before pouring to avoid releasing the oils and acidity produced by boiling water,

The Coffee Filter That Makes Every Cup an Unbleached Adventure
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I recently embarked on a bold new journey in my coffee-making life by upgrading to the Melitta #4 Cone Coffee Filters, Unbleached Natural Brown, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride.Firstly, these filters are like the secret agents of the coffee world. They’re unbleached, which means they don’t have that “I’m trying too hard” bleachy smell. They’re natural brown, which makes them look like they’re on a constant quest for artisanal authenticity. They’ve got the whole “I’m a real, down-to-earth coffee filter” vibe going on, like they were hand-woven by coffee-loving monks on a mountain top.Using them with my Ninja coffee maker has been a revelation. My coffee now tastes like it was brewed in a rainforest, with hints of “I’m doing my part for the environment.” The filters fit perfectly, like they were custom-tailored for my machine. No awkward fits or unsightly folds—just smooth, seamless coffee joy.Plus, these filters have this fascinating way of letting you know they’re doing their job right. They never tear or collapse under pressure, which makes me wonder if they’ve been secretly training with coffee filter ninjas. My coffee has never been smoother, and my morning routine has never been more zen.In summary, if you want your coffee to taste like it’s been filtered through the soul of a hipster barista and if you like the idea of contributing to a cleaner planet, the Melitta #4 Cone Coffee Filters are your best bet. They’re like the Gandalf of coffee filters—wise, reliable, and always on a quest for the perfect brew.

They’re paper coffee filters.
They work great as paper coffee filters. I buy whatever is cheapest at the time I need paper coffee filters. This time the were the cheapest paper coffee filters. As paper coffee filters go they have performed admirably. I will buy them again if they are the cheapest the next time I need paper coffee filters.

REVIEMelitta #4 Cone Coffee Filters, Unbleached Natural BrownW –
Has well been our ‘go-to’, for well over 25 yrs – Simply put; They work… In all these years, we’ve never an an ‘issue’ or problem with ANY of Melitta’s filters. Quality material and craftsmanship and performance. If ‘you’ are needing a coffee filter, these are the one’s… And far better then those stoopid [Sic] gold filters, which one has to clean nearly all the time and will eventual plug up.As I always say – ‘Its your money…’

Good filters!
These filters do a fine job and I have nothing negative to say. Many years ago, my dad told me that bleached filters may have some undesirable chemicals in them, so always get brown, unbleached filters. I don’t know if that’s true, but there’s a reason these unbleached ones are on the market, so that’s what I get.

Glad I finally bought these.
I love ❤️ these coffee filters. I bought regular coffee filters when I purchased my new coffee pot. They did the job but what a difference these cone shaped ones are great .

filters
My insanely expensive coffee maker arrived with a few free filters. When I ran out, I replaced them with cheap grocery store filters. I could not believe that there was an actual difference in the coffee flavor, but there was. This is a 4 star score because I ordered unbleached filters. Flavor is minimally less savory than the free bleached filters provided. They were 5 stars. Next order will be Melita number 4 bleached filters.

Coffee Filters that Do Their Job
At the same time, I also bought boxes of Melitta brown coffee filters. In the same order, I also bought white filters from Amazon. I was interested in assessing how these filters ‘do the job’ in my coffee making. I really can’t tell the difference in the flavor of coffee brewed from the same bag of coffee through the respective filters.I do think these brown Melitta filters are probably a bit easier on the environment bc there’s no bleach of the pulp involved. Or if Amazon has another way of turning brown paper pulp white, I think it’s be worth advertising it.I give these Melitta filters 5 stars–

It’s a coffee filter so not much to say. They do hold up well, and are deep enough that all grounds stay inside filter.

Walmart does a lousy job of keeping these stocked
Better to buy via Amazon & be sure to get them! Wanted a filter that didn’t involve chemicals (bleach, etc) in the manufacturing process. These filters can be composted after they’re used.

Perfect!
Got these to try out in our “new-to-us” coffee maker. It’s exactly what we were needing. My husband and I are daily coffee drinkers and we’ve had absolutely no complaints about these. They’ve lasted for a long time already, don’t leave a funky taste to our coffee, don’t break easily leaving grounds in coffee pot, and the water flows through perfectly. Will definitely be ordering more of these once we finally run out. Great value and quality!

Used for my French press
Needed to find an unbleached paper filter for my French press and these worked great size wise after cutting them into circles. Great option if you don’t mind cutting them into circles and paying a tad less than the ones that already come cut.

They work
These filters fit my Cuisinart drip coffee maker just fine. They were easy to install. They are thick enough to filter well. The coffee flow came out nicely. They make clean up a breeze. These filters were priced a bit more than what I typically purchase, but I needed filters right away.

Review for:Melitta #4 Cone Coffee Filters, Unbleached Natural Brown, 100 Total Filters CountBefore, when I used store brand #4 filters, my coffee was good tasting, or so I thought. I’d never bought anything else and stuck with the store brands due to the price. I was about to give up on coffee because it tasted so bad. Then one day they had a mega sale and the Melitta filters were at a super mark down price so I figured might as well try what could it hurt. After running out of the others I threw in a Melitta #4 and Holy Moly! The same coffee became outta sight! I was like this is what my coffee actually tastes like. This lead me to uncover all the bleaching & chemicals that went into the cheapo or cheaper filters which is why no matter how it was prepared previously, I would get an unpleasant tasting brew. It was the filters. From that point on I would get the better Melitta ones because it was worth it. When I didn’t have the extra dough, I would not buy any filters, stop making coffee in house and wait until I could ge the Melitta’s!

Coffee Filter Help
What the heck, we have less than a week’s supply of #4 coffee filters? Where do they go? What a deal, Amazon Prime days are going, maybe a perfect time to search? Hmmm, these are only paper, yet prices have increased these past couple of years. Our local grocery store carries #4 coffee filters, but they seem to slightly taint our brew. To my wife and myself, the Melitta brand seems to deliver a fuller flavor. As for that Prime sale, we might have saved a few cents, but it did make the purchase a little more affordable.

The cuisinart coffee maker comes with a mesh filter but I like my coffee better filtered through these filters! They aren’t bleached!

Works as expected and price is on point
What can you really say about a coffee filter? It does exactly what it’s supposed to do—filters the coffee perfectly. I’m not entirely sure of the difference between the brown and white filters, except that the brown one seems to be thicker. I assume that means it filters more effectively. I haven’t had any issues with coffee grounds getting through, and my coffee tastes great.

Wonderful
I didn’t knew I could use paper filters instead of the supplied steel filter in my drip coffee maker. These make clean-up a breeze!!! They stand up well, and don’t affect the taste, that I can tell, There’s no turning back.

Better than the round filters
My coffee pot has the filtered basket so filters are optional. There is huge difference using these filters. There is a small tab on each filter to aid in separating each one from the bunch. These filters seem not to leak , like the round filters, when removing them after use.

Just right for Ninja
I like the cone filters better than the older type used on Mr Coffee. They were always hard to separate and liked to tear as you removed them from the brew basket after brewing. This filter doesn’t tear and is easy to install.
